Typically, I rotate between three reliable favourites:

- Homemade Chicken Curry – Tender pieces of chicken cooked in the chef’s own medium-spiced curry sauce. In addition, it is served with naan bread and a choice of rice or chips.
- Roast Dinner – Freshly prepared, with the meats changing daily. It’s always worth asking what’s available.
A Classic Festive Roast
As Christmas was approaching during my last visit, I chose the turkey roast. The dish arrived generously plated with a hearty selection of vegetables.
In addition, there were mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, carrots, and peas. There was also cauliflower, stuffing, and a Yorkshire pudding. On top of that, everything was covered in rich gravy. Indeed, it was a comforting and satisfying pub roast.
Traditional Desserts
At times, we also enjoy sampling the dessert menu. Whether it is a chocolate pudding, a classic spotted dick with custard, or a slice of cheesecake, the desserts feel just as homely as the main courses.
